The Team
Tim Schmidt
President & CEO
I empower and lead one of the greatest business teams on the planet. I enjoy spending time with my family, riding motorcycles, shooting, reading, playing guitar, singing, Tae Kwon Do, watching UFC fights and thinking.
Patrick Kilchermann
Director of Marketing
It is my responsibility to help spread the USCCA’s message to armed Americans across the country. Other than my passion for the USCCA, I enjoy brewing fine coffee, viewing and collecting antique battle-rifles, objectivist-thinking, studying the second world war, and relaxing over great conversation with my wife and close friends.
Greg Schmidt
Director of Operations
I’m responsible for all ecommerce functionality, back-end membership systems, fulfillment and customer service. I’m a father of 3, I love skiing deep powder and I’m Southern Utah desert rat. I also enjoy both playing and listening to music and doing anything outdoors where I live in Park City, Utah.
Franklin Cole
Deputy Director of Marketing
My top priority is sharing the USCCA with freedom loving Americans. My favorite thing to do is travel the world with my wife. I also love to play and listen to music, read, play soccer, and spend time outdoors.
Laura Otto
Office Manager and Executive Assistant (to Tim)
I keep Tim and the office organized. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, I love to play tennis, travel, read, and of course, love my dogs.
Aaron Miller
Technology and Development Manager, PBA
I’m responsible for architecting, engineering and managing our web-based software solutions. I create re-usable, scalable and configurable solutions that provide our marketing, support and management staff the information they need to execute efficiently. I also enjoy riding my motorcycles from the high hills of Utah to the coastal curves of California – nothing like sliding a little plastic around the pavement.
Don Stahlnecker
Technology and Development
I setup and maintain the web servers used to deliver Delta Media’s online content. I also write or modify much of the application code used on our sites. Outside of Delta Media, I am a firearms instructor at the Firearms Academy of Seattle, I teach Dan Zan Ryu Jujitsu, and I develop and maintain CorneredCat.com – the personal website of USCCA Concealed Carry Magazine editor Kathy Jackson. In my spare time I brew beer, SCUBA dive, and wander around in the wilderness.
Mark Walters
Program Manager, Host-Armed American Radio Network
Columnist-CCM-The Ordinary Guy
I’m a vocal second amendment activist, avid reader, writer and co-author of the recently released book, “Lessons from Armed America” with Kathy Jackson. In addition to my passion for self-defense and firearms, I enjoy the outdoors, the smell of charcoal during every month of the year and BBQ’ing anything that fits on my smokers and Weber grills.
Nikki Bublitz
Member Services Manager
I manage all aspects of our customer service team. I also enjoy spending time with husband and kids, and I love tennis, boating and shopping.
Mary Poth
Member Services
When you call, I’ll be there! That’s right, I have the privilege of answering your questions and assisting with your concerns. When I am away from the phones, I also enjoy playing percussion, dancing, conversation, cooking, watching sports, movies, & reading. Oh, and don’t forget laughing!

Veronica Leonard

I help and educate members of the USCCA. I love the outdoors and spending time with my children.
Josh Junghans
Web Layout Manager
As the Web Layout Manager, it’s my job to create graphics and functionality for the various USCCA websites. I enjoy hanging with my wife and dog, creating and designing websites and graphics, playing guitar, writing lyrics, listening to music.
Justin Reichert
Editor – Concealed Carry Report / Manager – Affiliate Development
My responsibilities include ensuring that the Concealed Carry Report keeps all USCCA members as informed as possible, along with spreading the word through our affiliates to continue sharing our message across this great Nation. I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, and doing just about anything outdoors. I am a combat Veteran who advocates for each and every citizen that risked their life for our country.
Amanda Prom
Web Layout
I assist with the development, programming and functionality of various pages included in the USCCA site. My interests include photography, graphic design, playing volleyball, and spending time with my family and fiance.
Kathy Jackson
Editor, Concealed Carry Magazine
Organizing an issue of the magazine is lot like putting together a giant jigsaw puzzle — but you’re never quite sure how many pieces it will take, what sizes they will be, or whether you’ll be able to find them when you need them. Plus, there’s no picture on the box. Just the vision you carry in your own head. When not working on the magazine, I enjoy teaching firearms classes, reading, hanging out with my family (my husband and I have five teenage and young adult sons), and spending time outdoors. I’m the author of two books: Lessons from Armed America (co-written with Mark Walters), and The Cornered Cat: A Woman’s Guide to Concealed Carry.
Betty Shonts
Art Director, Concealed Carry Magazine
I’m a work-at-home mom who loves her son, husband, and two dogs very much. I like shooting for target, defensive and hunting purposes, and have about as many guns as my age (but don’t care to specify either). I also like gardening, reading, and have an affinity for spicy foreign food.
